NAGAPATTINAM: A large number of pilgrims and devotees took a holy dip in the sea opposite Lord Siva temple at Vedaranyam on Sunday and performed rites to their forefathers in connection with the ‘Mahalaya Amavasai.’ The pilgrims, then worshipped the deities at the Lord Siva temple in Vedaranyam.
