Demo staged
Praja Rajya on Monday staged a demonstration in front of the Divisional Railway Manager’s office here to press for better facilities for passengers. It submitted a memorandum to the DRM with a list of demands that included merging Visakhapatnam in South Central Railway, extending the Garib Rath, which starts from Anakapalle, to Visakhapatnam, increase in reservation counters, more platforms and better parking facility.
Former MLA S.A. Rahman and Director General of Prema Hospitals S.V. Adinarayana Rao participated in the programme.
