House burgled

HYDERABAD: Thieves took away gold jewellery weighing 300 grams after breaking into a house at Samatha Colony in Golconda fort area, the police said on Monday. The house owner lives abroad while his wife, Mohammadi Begum, was admitted to hospital for delivery four days ago. The burglary came to light in the morning when Ms. Begum’s mother Moinunnisa came to the house from hospital. The offenders broke lock of the main door and the almirah inside the bedroom and made away with the jewellery.
