Chandigarh and Chennai to clash in final

HYDERABAD: Chandigarh Lions recorded a five-wicket win over Ahmedabad Rockets and a six-wicket win over Delhi Giants in the last round league matches to qualify for the final of the ICL Twenty20 domestic championship at Lahari Resorts near here on Monday.

In the final on Tuesday, Chandigarh Lions will take on Chennai Superstars.

The scores (round-robin league) (final round matches): Mumbai Champs 157 for seven in 20 overs (Dheeraj Jadhav 54) bt Delhi Giants 125 in 19.2 overs (Bali 34, Sridhar Iyer three for five).

Ahmedabad Rockets 133 for eight (Sriram 30) lost to Chandigarh Lions 137 for five in 19.4 overs (T. P. Singh 50, Dinesh Mongia 34).

Mumbai Champs 116 for six in 20 overs (Narsimha 35) lost to Royal Bengal Tigers 117 for six in 19.5 overs (Sridhar Iyer three for 11).

Delhi Giants 85 in 18.3 overs (Yagnik 33, Luv Ablish three for nine, Bipul Sharma three for 10) lost to Chandigarh Lions 86 for four in 14.5 overs (M. Sharma 32).
