In connection with the celebrations of the wildlife week from October 1 to 7, the Madras government have decided to throw open to the public, free of entrance fees, the Mudumalai wild life sanctuary in the Nilgiris district and the Kodaikadu reserve forests in Tanjore district during the period. The forest department will furnish all necessary help for those who intend visiting the reserved forests. It has also been decided to throw open the Guindy Park during the period.
