New Railway Board member takes over

NEW DELHI: Shri Prakash has taken over as Member (Traffic) of the Railway Board and ex-officio Secretary to the Union Government from Vinoo Mathur.

Mr. Prakash until recently was General Manager of Northern Railway. An officer of the 1972 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service, he has had varied experience of working in several departments of the Railways holding different posts.
