Jan Seva to adopt flood-hit families

Jan Seva Sangh, a voluntary organisation based in Secunderabad, has decided to adopt 200 families which were affected by the recent floods in Bihar. It will provide Rs. 200 a month to each family for the next six months. These families will be adopted by volunteers in consultation with the district administration. A press release issued by Aloke Kumarr Jha, Convenor, Steering Committee, said the organisation had also decided to give Rs. 25,000 to the family of the slain New Delhi Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma.
