Mayor to inaugurate sanitation week

Thiruvananthapuram: Mayor C.Jayan Babu will inaugurate the sanitation week activities of the Corporation on Gandhi Jayanti day on October 2.
As part of the week, cleaning activities will be taken up at public institutions, offices and schools under the Corporation. The inauguration of various housing schemes of the Corporation will be held on October 4.
A review of the activities of Kudumbasree will be held on October 4 along with a sales and exhibition of Kudumbasree products. October 6 will be observed as agriculture day while October 7 will be observed as complaints redressal day.
The Mayor will inaugurate the week at 7.30 a.m. at a function at the Asan Square.
