Theft in church

BANGALORE: A sum of Rs. 10,000 and some electronic items were stolen from a church in Anagalpura near Hoskote on Monday night.

According to Inspector-General of Police (Central Range) Kamal Pant, some persons entered the church by breaking open the back door. They ransacked the storeroom and took away musical instruments, mikes and a loudspeaker.

They also broke open the offerings box and took off with Rs. 10,000, Mr. Kamal Pant said. “We are making efforts to nab the culprits,” he added.
