Pakistan violates ceasefire, yet again

JAMMU: In yet another ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops on Wednesday fired from across the border to push a group of armed militants into Jammu and Kashmir, the BSF said.

“Pakistani Rangers opened fire on Tent Post along the International Border in the Kancchak sub-sector of the Jammu frontier in the wee hours,” a BSF spokesman said.

The militants tried to enter into the Indian territory in the Zero-line area under cover of Pakistani firing. At this, the BSF personnel retaliated. The exchange of fire continued for 30 minutes. — PTI
