BSNL announces new schemes for customers

ADILABAD: In connection with its 8th formation day of Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), some new schemes were announced at Adilabad on Wednesday. General Manager M.L. Narasimha Rao said the BSNL rededicated itself to ‘customer care’ that was the mantra in the highly competitive market.

At a press conference here, the General Manager and Deputy General Manager (A&P) P.S. Subramanyam and others disclosed the details of some new services launched in connection with the celebrations. Mr. Narasimha Rao said installation charges on new landline connections would be waived up to December 31, this year.

The mobile power pack-225 would allow the customer to choose five BSNL numbers comprising at least one landline that would be charged at the subsidised rate of 30 paise per minute. There was and offer of extra talk value on recharge coupons of Rs. 562, Rs. 1,124, Rs. 2,247, Rs. 3,371 and Rs. 5,618. The Internet access charges would also not be levied up to December 31, he added.
