Guruvayur: SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappilly Natesan has alleged that large-scale conversion of Hindus was happening in the country. “Forced conversion should be condemned,” he said here on Wednesday. He said the SNDP was ready for talks with the Nair Service Society to continue the efforts for Hindu unity. “That NSS backed out of the unity efforts shows the ineptitude of its leadership. NSS leaders levelled baseless allegations against me,” Mr. Natesan said the govenment should weed out alleged corruption in the Travancore Devaswom Board. He wondered whether the recent meeting of Hindu and Christian leaders would yield results.
