TIRUPATI: The Postal and Railway Mail service divisions have announced to start a postal logistics service from Tirupati to Chennai. The service, to be offered in both directions, will be of great use to the small traders of Tirupati, Renigunta, Puttur, Nagari, Tiruthani and Tiruvallur en route, as it comes at an affordable cost. Further, the postal staff will also assist the customers in the pre-pickup and pre-delivery of the goods. The service will not be available on Sundays and other public holidays, a postal release said. –Staff Reporter
