Prayers under the auspices of Sajjad-e-Nasheen of Asthan-e-Magdoom-Illahi Dargah KADAPA: People from the Muslim community who observed daylong fasting for 30 days, rejoiced the sighting of the moon on Wednesday evening and burst crackers in Kadapa on the eve of Ramzan which will be celebrated on Thursday. Thousands of Muslims will offer mass prayers at the built-up Idgah on Pulivendula road under the auspices of Arufullah Hussaini, Sajjad-e-Nasheen of Asthan-e-Magdoom-Illahi Dargah (Pedda Dargah) at 11 a.m. Peethadhipathi Ahmed Peer Shamiri will conduct mass prayers at Asthan-e-Shahmiria at Ravindranagar at 10.30 a.m. Prayers will be conducted in Amjad Masjid, built by Kadapa MLA Mohd. Ahmedullah in the memory of his son Ahmed Basha, at 8 a.m. and at Jumma Masjid at 11 a.m. The sound of crackers reverberated in the air after religious heads announced the sighting of the moon and that Ramzan festival would be celebrated on October 2. Muslims greeted each other with messages of ‘Id Mubarak’.
