Milk to cost more from Friday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The price of Milma milk will go up by Re.1 a litre from Friday, Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation informed in a press release on Wednesday.
‘Toned’ and ‘double toned’ varieties of Milma milk will be priced at Rs. 20 a litre from Friday.
The price of Milma ‘rich’ milk will be Rs.23 a litre, while that of ‘Jersey’ milk Rs.22 a litre. For Milma curd, the new price will be Rs.12.50 for each packet of 500 millilitres.
The press release said the packets in which milk and curd would be supplied might carry the old price labels for a few more days, as the new packets had to be made available to the packing centres.
