TIRUPATI: As a warm gesture to passengers who reposed confidence in the APSRTC services, the Tirupati region took a novel step as token reciprocation. RTC Executive Director N. Vivekananda presented a traditional gift set comprising saree, blouse piece, turmeric and vermilion to the first woman passenger boarding the bus to Tirumala, in connection with the Srivari Dhwajarohanam on Wednesday. He also inaugurated new bus services in this connection. Regional Manager M.S. Prakasa Rao was also present on the occasion. – Staff Reporter
