‘Left will join government’

Correspondent

MAHBUBNAGAR: CPI State Secretary K. Narayana on Thursday indicated that the Left parties would join the government in the event of their electoral partners getting a majority in the next Assembly elections in the State.

Talking to reporters at Polepalli in Jadcherla after interacting with the oustees of SEZ, who have been on ‘Bhoo Satyagraha’ since a week, he expressed confidence that the proposed front comprising TDP, Praja Rajyam, TRS and the Left parties, would form government, adding that each constituent would share power. The front would work with the sole objective of defeating Congress in the elections.

He said that his party took a clear stand favouring Telangana and would bring pressure on the Centre with the support of other pro-Telangana parties.

Earlier, Nagendra Babu, younger brother of Praja Rajyam leader, Chiranjeevi, also visited the camp and interacted with the oustees. He assured that Praja Rajyam if elected to power would solve their problems.
