Gujarat chamber signs pacts with Malawi, Belarus

AHMEDABAD: In a historic first, the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently signed agreements with the High Commissions of Malawi and Belarus for bilateral cooperation in exchange of information in trade and industry.

According to the Chamber’s senior deputy secretary general Bipin Patel, there would be no financial transaction as the agreement was mainly “service based.”

It would now be easier for the industries in Gujarat to seek information about exports and imports, investments and other trade and industry-related information from the two countries.
