Bonus disbursement
Aqua Group of companies has agreed to pay 36 per cent bonus (including tour allowance and gift) to workers and employees in its companies. An agreement was reached between the Coimbatore District General Engineering and Mechanical Workers’ Union, affiliated to the CITU, and the management in this regard recently.
New product
Gangotri has launched “Lemon”, ready-to-stitch fabrics. A release from the company said the fabric has mercerized finish with eco-friendly chemical dyes. The fabric is certified by Oeko-Tex standard 100. The minimum introductory price is Rs. 175 for a solo pack. The starting price for the combo pack is Rs. 350. The product is currently available at the company’s outlet in Peelamedu.
