HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Thursday complimented Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for the approval of the Indo-US nuclear deal given by the US Senate close on the heels of the green signal given earlier by the House of Representatives.

In a statement, Dr. Reddy described it as a historic achievement of the UPA government and a momentous occasion for the country. The statement said:

“The Prime Minister deserves all kudos for getting the Nuclear deal approved which relieves India from the Nuclear Fuel isolation since many decades.”
