CUDDALORE: The pensioners of the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. have launched a postcard campaign to urge the Centre to concede their demand on the dearness allowance issue. The Cuddalore chapter of the Tamil Nadu BSNL Pensioners’ Welfare Association held here on Sunday under S. Abdul Khader, district president, adopted a resolution. It called upon the Centre to issue an early order for 50 per cent industrial dearness allowance merger for pensioners as in the case of the serving employees. Those who participated on the occasion included D. Gopalakrishnan, V. Ramarao, Tamil Nadu circle president and secretary, K. Ilangovan, Divisional Engineer (Marketing) and others.
