Allegations denied
Staff Reporter
Bangalore: Managing Director of Maverick Holdings and Investments Private Limited B Garudachar Uday denied former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy’s allegation that he had paid Rs. 50 crore to Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to bag the Ejipura EWS project.
Addressing presspersons here on Friday, Mr Uday threatened to file a defamation suit against Mr. Kuamraswamy for tarnishing the company’s image.
“These politicians say they will quit politics if their allegations are not true. As a businessman, I am saying that I will stop doing business if the allegations are true. Let them prove that I have paid money to get the project,” he said.
