dated October 4, 1958: Coaching camp

Mr. L.P. Jai, member of the Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, announced in Bombay on October 3 that 41 players would attend the cricketers’ coaching camp at Khadakvasla from October 11 for 19 days. The other three selectors will go to Khadakvasla on October 21 and the Indian team to play against the West Indies would be announced in the last week of October.
