Innings win for TNCA

Chennai: TNCA’s domination over three days gave the side an innings-and-131-run victory over Goa, in the inter-state South Zone under-22 cricket match for the P. Ramachandra Rao Trophy. Resuming at 103 for seven, Goa lost three wickets in one over from Abhinav Mukund, managing just one run. Following on, Goa was dismissed for 171 in 57.4 overs.

In another match, Hyderabad coasted to a 10-wicket win over Kerala.

The scores:

TNCA 406 bt Goa 104 in 50.5 overs (R. Ashwin five for 31) and 171 in 57.4 overs (Aniket Dessai 70). TNCA: 6 points.

Kerala 124 and 147 in 57 overs lost to Hyderabad 263 and nine for no loss in 1.5 overs. Hyderabad: 6 points.

KSCA 372 and 169 for two in 28.4 overs (Dhananjaya Murari 61 batting, Ganesh Satish 82) v Andhra 382 in 116.1 overs (B. Sumanth 146, V. Sandeep 64 , A.G. Pradeep 63).
