Poems, essays by a politician

KOZHIKODE: ‘Bonsai,’ a collection of poems, and ‘Vredhayum veekshanam,’ a book of essays, authored by BJP leader P.S. Sreedharan Pillai would be released at a function to be held at the Kozhikode Town Hall on Monday.

Supreme Court Judge Cyriac Joseph, singer K.J. Yesudas, BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu, IUML leader Abdusamad Samadani, novelist Punathil Kunhabdulla and KTDC Chairman Cherian Philip would release the books and a compact disc of Sreedharan Pillai’s poems at the function.

M.P. Veerendrakumar, MP, would preside over the programme.

Sreedharan Pillai has authored 14 books in English and Malayalm on subjects related to law, history, literature, and economics.
