Rain lashes Krishnagiri, boy killed

KRISHNAGIRI: A 15-year-old boy killed as lightning struck him at Venkatesapuram village, near Sulagiri, in Krishnagiri district on Saturday morning, the police said. Krishnagiri district is witnessing heavy rainfall during nights heat during mornings for the last two to three days.

On Saturday, it was raining from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Krishnagiri, Hosur, Kaveripattnam, Uthankarai, Royakottai and Bargur towns.
