‘KSRTC pay hike meagre’

Staff Correspondent

BELLARY: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Staff and Workers’ Federation has urged the State Government to withdraw the order increasing salaries by six per cent, stating that it is too meagre.

The federation also urged the Government to convene a meeting of office-bearers of the federation before revising the pay scales.

H.V. Ananta Subbarao, general secretary of the federation, said a “Bangalore chalo” agitation had been planned on October 15 in this regard.
