250 bags of ration rice seized

Tiruvannamalai: The Food Cell police seized a lorry with 250 bags of ration rice near here on Saturday.

During an inspection on Chengam road near Tiruvannamalai (the road that leads to Karnataka), the team intercepted a lorry at Athiyandhal, which was carrying ration rice worth Rs.1.5 lakh.
