One killed in train-tipper collision

Ill-fated: The damaged tipper near the Umram level crossing on Saturday
ADILABAD: Md. Iqbal, a driver of a private tipper was killed when his vehicle was hit by a train at a level crossing near Umram railway station about 5 kms from Adilabad.
Delayed
The Nandigram Express was delayed by about two hours causing inconvenience to the passengers.
Damage
The engine Nandigram Express also suffered some damage in the incident.
Another engine had to be arranged for the train to move ahead. The incident occurred in the afternoon after the train left Adilabad station. The deceased Iqbal belonged to the Bad ka Mohalla locality.
