University employees demand probe

Thiruvananthapuram: The Confederation of University Employees Organisations, Kerala, has called for a probe into the controversy over the appointment of assistants in the University of Kerala. General secretary of the organisation K. Sunilkumar said here on Saturday that it was necessary for restoring the credibility and pride of the university. He contended that it was clear by now that it was a planned political controversy. The denigration of all those who received appointments on the ground that the OMR sheets had not been made available, was tantamount to denying social justice. — Special Correspondent
