No water supply due to repair work today

NEW DELHI: Due to urgent repair work near Swami Nagar sub-way and near Mother Dairy on Outer Ring Road at Panchsheel Park, water supply will not be available on Sunday in several areas of the Capital. These areas are Saket, Malviya Nagar, Shivalik, Geetanjali Enclave, Begumpur, Chiragh Dilli, Savitri Nagar, Sarvpriya Vihar, Navjeevan Vihar, B.N. and W Block Greater Kailash-I, Amar Colony and Lajpat Nagar-IV. The Delhi Jal Board in a release on Saturday said water supply would be available at low pressure on Monday evening in Karol Bagh, Civil Lines, NDMC areas, Pahar Ganj, Azad Market, Metcalfe House, Hindu Rao Hospital, New Rajinder Nagar, adjoining areas of Patel Nagar, South Delhi and MES. Residents of these areas are advised to store water in advance. Tankers would be available on telephone (No. 29234746/47, 26642884, 26642493 (Qutab pump house), 29814106, 29819035 (Jal Sadan) and 23360685, 23537397 (NDMC water emergency).
