Parsi Panchayat poll

WIDENING REACH:Community members throng a voting centre in South Mumbai on Saturday to elect a committee for the Bombay Parsi Panchayat (BPP). Election is usually held every 7 years to form a 7-member committee and for the first time in its history registered Parsis totalling 26,000 from all over the world are taking part. The elections will continue for six days. The BPP is the seniormost administrative body for the Zoroastrian community.
