CHENNAI: Brothers Sudanand and Prithveen Rajan of Team WSRF with Leela persevered their way to a win in the endurance race, even as Team Rams Racing won the Enduro Championship in the final leg of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship on Saturday. The 60-minute thriller at the Madras Motor Race Track here, with a change of driver effected every fifteen minutes, saw compelling driving by all participants. The winning combination of Sudanand and Prithveen completed 29 laps in 01.01.46 seconds. Second placed Kartik Shankar and Naren Shankar of Team Rams racing completed 28 laps while Vir Raine and Mohit of the same team could finish 27 in just over an hour. Sarosh takes poleSetting the pecking order for Sunday’s races, Sarosh Hataria of Team Red Rooster Racing took pole in the premium Formula Rolon category. He was followed by Saahil Shelar of Team Speed NK Racing and Gaurav Dalal of Team Red Rooster. Delhi lad Kartik Shankar of Team TVS Girling took pole in the Formula LGB Swift. He led Saran Vikram of Team WSRF with Leela and Rayomand Banajee of Team Amaron with Meco who finished third. — Sports Reporter
