Brown keen for a better show

NEW DELHI: Having gone through dramatic ups and downs in his career, New Zealander Mark Brown is keen to put up an impressive performance in the $1 million Hero Honda Indian Open golf tournament at the Delhi Golf Club next week in order to win the Asian Tour Order of Merit.

After missing the cut at the Korean Open this week, it has become all the more important for Brown to do well at the Indian Open.

“Last year I was trying to keep my card and now I’m trying to win the Order of Merit,” said the 33-year-old Kiwi.

“Anything can happen. Anyone behind me can win the Order of Merit. I would love to win it, though. I enjoy playing in India particularly at Delhi Golf Club. It is a really good course.” — Sports Reporter
