Shah Rukh meets Dalmiya

KOLKATA: Bollywood superstar and owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan, on Saturday had a brief meeting with the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), Jagmohan Dalmiya, in which the two is believed to have discussed many issues concerning hosting of the IPL matches at the Eden Gardens.

Amid reports that Shah Rukh might pull his team out of Kolkata and move to another city, he assured Mr. Dalmiya he would stay in Kolkata for the reminder of the contracted period. “I am a Kolkatan by heart and I am happy to be here in Kolkata,” Shah Rukh said. — Special Correspondent
