Mehta scores a brace

NEW DELHI: K. Mehta’s brace (16th and 79th minutes) helped Columba’s Youngsters Club register a 2-0 victory over Victory Club in a preliminary match of the Delhi Soccer Association ‘B’ Division football league here on Saturday.

In another match, Shakti Club defeated New Friends Club 2-1. Samar Das (19th) and Mohammad Atiq (52nd) netted for the winning side while Mithun (28th) scored the lone goal for New Friends.
