BHUBANESWAR: The State Election Commission issued a notification to register voters’ list based on new ward reorganisation plan of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) by October 21. According to a press statement released by the commission, the voters’ list published on May 12 would be segregated according to new ward jurisdiction in the corporation limit. The re-entry of voters’ name in the list would be taken up from October 5 to October 21. On the next day, final voters’ list would be published at office additional district magistrate, Bhubaneswar, BMC. It is to be noted that election to the BMC could not be held due to some litigations regarding ward divisions and reservation.
