Allegations baseless, says Speaker

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Speaker Alamgir Alam has said that the charges of malpractices raised by senior BJP MLA Saryu Rai in connection with the recruitment of 150 assistants in the Assembly was “baseless”. “A five-member team led by JD(U) leader Radha Krishna Kishore was formed to look into the allegations following the production of a video cassette by Rai in this regard last year,” Alam said, adding that it could not identify the guilty officials.
