State Horticulture Mission bags award

Thiruvananthapuram: The State Horticulture Mission, Kerala has bagged the second place for its stall put up at the venue of Flora Expo 2008 held from September 26 to 28 in New Delhi.

The show is one of South Asia’s largest events for floriculture, landscaping and gardening.

Dr. K. Prathapan, Mission Director received the trophy from Dr. Nandakumar, Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Government of India. Dr. M.L. Chowdhary, Horticulture Commissioner, Government of India was present on the occasion.
