Six persons drown in Medak district

SANGAREDDY: Six persons, including five children, drowned in different incidents that occurred at three different places in the district on Friday and Saturday.
According to sources, three girls – Rahina Begum (18), Taslima Begum (13) and Sameera Begum (11) – all cousins, went to wash clothes in a tank at Daultabad village in Hatnoora mandal and got drowned in the tank. In another incident, T. Salaiah (10) and T. Roopa (14), also cousins, who went missing since Friday, were found dead in a pit dug by a JCB. This incident occurred at Errakuntla village in Gajwel mandal. In one more incident, Ramesh (28) was found dead at Sakarikunta in Vargal mandal.
