Alappuzha district CBSE Kalotsav concludes

ALAPPUZHA: S.D.V. English Medium Higher Secondary School, Alappuzha, was adjudged the overall champions at the three-day Alappuzha District Sahodaya CBSE Kalotsav-08 that concluded here on Saturday.

S.D.V. school bagged 621 points. Hosts St. Mary’s Residential Central School came second with 549 points, while Bishop Moore Vidyapith, Cherthala, bagged the third place with 394 points.

P.T. Abraham, secretary and chairman (South India), St. Mary’s Group of Institutions, gave away the trophies while actor Kalabhavan Prajod presented prizes for the winners of group events.

Bishop Moore Vidyapith (75) stood first in category I, followed by St. Mary’s Residential School (64) and S.D.V. School (50).

In category II, St. Mary’s school (171) topped the charts, followed by S.D.V. school(162) and Bishop Moore school (122). In category III saw S.D.V. school topping again with 351 points, while St. Mary’s school was second (298) and St. Mary of Leuca, Thycattussery, came third with 170 points.

In category IV, S.D.V. school (295) came first and St. Mary’s school (251) and Bishop Moore school (195) bagged the second and third places respectively.
