‘Quality education need of the hour’

Kakinada: Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education K.C Reddy said private educational institutions play a crucial role in transforming youth into ‘responsible citizens’ by imparting quality, value-based education. The changes that take place in economy, whether it is national or global, reflect in the kind of employment avenues available for youth.
The employability factor is in turndependent onquality of education. This is where private institutions, instead of merely churning out graduates, must ensure that they fulfillcurrent requirements .
Addressing the inaugural function of V.S. Lakshmi Engineering College for Women at Matlapalem here, Prof. Reddy said institutions like VSL college have to come forward to contribute their mite to this end . .
Vice-president of VSL Engineering College for Women, V V Krishnam Raju, JNTU Vice-Chancellor Allam Appa Rao , Satyam Computer Services Chief Information Officer Vijay Prasad, VSL Engineering College committee chairperson V Sandhya and secretary P Somasekhar were present.
