Body for Wakf land mooted

KOCHI: The Joint Parliamentary Committee on Wakf has suggested to the State government to create a corporation for the development of Wakf properties in Kerala. K. Rahman Khan, chairman of the JPC, told a news conference that the JPC members discussed the issue with the Chief Secretary and the functionaries of the Kerala State Wakf Board. The government was already in the process of creating such a body. — Special Correspondent
