Quit, CMP tells VS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State secretary of the Communist Marxist Party (CMP) M.V. Raghavan has said Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan should resign his post as he is failing to lead the Cabinet.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the CMP leader said the policies and programmes of the government were unclear. While the Chief Minister and party leaders spoke differently on Munnar. CPI State secretary Veliyam Bhargavan changed his opinion on SEZs overnight. Mr. Raghavan said the CMP was not against SEZs. However, the rights of workers should be protected.
