MoU to promote health

HYDERABAD: The College of Home Science, ANGRAU and the Women Development & Child Welfare Department (WDCW) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation between both the parties for dealing with issues like health, nutrition, childhood education, entrepreneurship development apart from addressing social evils. The MoU was signed by M. Chaya Ratan, Principal Secretary, WDCW and P. Raghava Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of ANGRAU. Some of the key issues that would be addressed to with the establishment of cooperative linkages include nutrition intervention, management of malnourished and severely malnourished children, child rights, child care institution strengthening, strengthening Balika Mandal (Adolescent girls programmes) and social concerns.
