Man knocked down by a car

NEW DELHI: A 35-year-old man was fatally knocked down by a car at Janakpuri here on Sunday.

Surender Bhardwaj, a resident of Dabri village, was on way to his dry-cleaning shop in the morning on a motorcycle when a speeding Indigo car hit him from behind. Passers-by rushed him to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital where he was declared brought dead. Driver Charanjeet has been arrested.
