Two drowned

Thiruvananthapuram: A woman and her daughter drowned to death at a quarry at Pallichal village, near Malayam, here on Sunday. According to the Nemom police, Geetha Kumari, 35, and Reshmi, 14, of Malavila, Puthenveedu had gone to take bath at the quarry pond at 3 p.m. Geetha Kumari’s husband, Manikandan, had passed away a year ago. Reshmi was a class IX student of Vilavurkkal HSS.
