Call to revise pension

KOCHI: All India EPF Pensioners Association has urged the government to revise the EPF pension. The association, at its State convention held here on Sunday, urged the government to provide relief to the pensioners.

P.C.Thomas, MP, who inaugurated the public meeting organised by the association at Karimugal near here, said the revision of pension was overdue. Over 30 lakh pensioners were eagerly awaiting a decision. The representative of PF Regional Office, Ernakulam, P.D. Sudheer, led the camp. Jayakumar Kavungal, State president of the association, expressed the hope that the pensioners’ demands would be considered by the government.
