BIDAR: A tableau Guru Nanak Gurudwara in Bidar city will be presented at the Jamboo Savari in Mysore as part of the Dasara festivities. Last year, a tableau of Anubhava Mantapa, the religious parliament started by 12th century social reformer Basaveshwara, was presented from Bidar district at the Mysore Dasara celebrations, and it won the third prize in the tableau category. According to Deputy Commissioner Harsh Gupta, a tableau of the gurudwara was considered because Bidar city is one of the holy places for Sikhs and also because of tri-centenary celebrations of Guru Granth Saheb. Speaking to The Hindu, Yogesh of Renuka Traders, Tumkur, who has been engaged to prepare the tableau, said it would be 12 feet in width, 16 feet in height and 30 feet in length.
