SCR to run special trains to beat rush

GUNTUR: The Guntur Division of South Central Railway will operate a set of special trains from Vijayawada to Lingampalli (Hyderabad) and Lingampalli to Rajahmundry.

The special train No.715 from Vijayawada to Lingampalli would run to clear festive season rush in this route via Guntur, said Senior Divisional Railway Manager R. Kishore Babu.

The train would leave Vijayawada at 9.30 p.m. on every Saturday i.e, on October 11, 18 and 25 and halt at Guntur at 10.25 p.m., reaching Secunderabad at 4.30 a.m. and reaching Lingampalli at 5.30 a.m.

In the reverse direction train No. 716 would depart from Lingampalli on October 12, 19 and 26 at 9 p.m. reach Secunderabad at 9.40 p.m. reach Guntur at 2.40 a.m. pass via Vijayawada and Eluru to reach Rajahmundry at 6.45 a.m. There will be one coach of II AC and III AC and 8 Sleeper Class coaches.
